Autism care partners

Autism Care Partners is a multidisciplinary ABA therapy company that provides services to children across New England and New York. Because their care is child-focused, Autism Care Partners considers themselves a "fun first" brand, and the majority of their branding and marketing reflect that. As their multimedia designer, I have built on their existing brand language, and expanded upon it.

 

From printed deliverables like flyers and brochures, to logo design, to social media posts, I have significantly elevated the company's identity and marketability. Also, my illustrative skill has allowed for Autism Care Partners to produce original, on-brand graphics rather than using standard stock images. This one-of-a-kind work sets them apart from other competitors and ensures visual consistency across all of their deliverables.

LOGO DESIGN

Autism Care Partners holds the exclusive license to the Visual Immersion System,(VIS) a unique framework for teaching language that was developed by Dr. Howard Shane, the director of the Autism Language Program and Communication Enhancement Program at Boston Children's Hospital.

The company requested a logo for the VIS to be used both across printed and digital deliverables with the goal of securing licensing partnerships with other companies looking to utilize the VIS. It was important to the company that the logo stand out independently from the company's existing logo without straying too far visually. Before the creation of this logo, the product was visually unidentifiable, making marketing it nearly impossible, so it's design and the various deliverables that followed have allowed Autism Care Partners the opportunity to market the product externally.

Rationale:
The logo features a soundwave, which symbolizes the VIS's use of a combination of audio and visual cues in order to teach language. The free-flowing shape also implies movement within the logo, which is a crucial component of the VIS.

Within the soundwave can be found the acronym VIS, as the framework is often referred as. To visually connect the VIS to the existing Autism Care Partners' branding, I utilized the same main 3 colors present in the majority of the company's marketing, and selected the company's primary font, Poppins, for the wordmark below the soundwave. However, to ensure the VIS logo stood apart from the company's main logo, I opted for a unique font for the letters VIS, and selected a free flowing, non-confined logo that contrasts the company's.

I have also designed multiple logos for Autism Care Partner's various company initiatives, such as a "Level Up to Excellence" behavior technician training program, and a series of digital advertisements called "Mission in Motion"

Animation

In order to market the product externally, I created a video animation explaining the complexities of language and the way that the VIS framework uniquely tackles them.
